How to Join

If you have doubts about joining the club, why not come along to any of the evening sessions (Tuesday 6pm or 7pm, meet at Bay Centre) or at the Thursday evening Running Fitness class (18:30 meet at Highbridge Community Hall). You will be most welcome and it provides an opportunity to dispel any concerns about levels of fitness, fitting in.

Membership fee structure (charges are reviewed annually at the club AGM in February)

New member information

New members are welcome and encouraged to attend any of the evening sessions (Tuesday 6pm or 7pm, meet at Bay Centre) or at the Thursday evening Running Fitness Class (18:30 meet at Highbridge Community Hall).

Your Ordinary Club Membership Fee includes the England Athletics Registration / Membership Fee.

Upon completion of your membership application, please allow a period of 6-8 weeks for yourEngland Athletics membership card to arrive. Your England Athletics card will list your England Athletics licence number, which you will need to quote on all UKA affiliated race applications. With official events, (road running, track and field, cross country, trail and fell running) your license number allows a discount on the entrance fee. As we are an affiliated club, registered athletes are not required to pay the unattached levy to any of the above listed events.

The club has a qualified Coach in Running Fitness and two Leaders in Running Fitness to support runners with running technique and training.

Burnham-on-sea Harriers running tops and clothing is available for order through NK Sports. Please ask a member for further information.

PLEASE NOTE: CLUB VESTS SHOULD BE WORN WHEN PARTICIPATING IN A UKA LICENSED RACE.
