
How to join
If you have doubts about joining the club, why not come along to any of our Tuesday evening sessions (usually a number of different groups running at various paces from the Bay Centre at 6pm). You will be most welcome and it will help provide an opportunity to gauge your fitness, fitting in, meeting new friends and so on.

New member information
New members are welcome and encouraged to attend any of the evening sessions (Tuesday 6:00pm, meet at Bay Centre).
Your Ordinary Club Membership Fee includes the England Athletics Registration / Membership Fee.
Upon completion of your membership application, please allow a period of 6-8 weeks for your England Athletics membership to be processed. Your England Athletics registration will be sent to you digitally from 1 April 2023, by way of email. With official events, (road running, track and field, cross country, trail and fell running) your license number allows a discount on the entrance fee. As we are an affiliated club, registered athletes are not required to pay the unattached levy to any of the above listed events.

The club has a qualified Coach in Running Fitness and several runners with the Leaders in Running Fitness qualification to support runners with running technique, training and ensure safety on our club runs.
Burnham-on-Sea Harriers Club/Training tops
Burnham-on-sea Harriers running tops and clothing is available for order through Somerset County Sports, based at Somerset Cricket County Ground, Taunton. Please ask our club member, Jeannine Darling for further information.
PLEASE NOTE: CLUB VESTS SHOULD BE WORN WHEN PARTICIPATING IN A UKA LICENSED RACE.

If you have doubts about joining the club, why not come along to our club evening. Our club run is on Tuesday evening. Each group runs at a different pace, accommodating runners of all abilities. We meet at the Bay Centre from 6pm, with each group setting off at different times. Please keep an eye on our Harriers Facebook page as club runs are published weekly and some groups set off from alternative locations.
