Pawlett Plod Race pleased to announce that the 2022 Pawlett Plod event will take place on Wednesday 20th July 2022, race start time – 7.15pm. The event will host a 10km race and a 5km fun run.

General Information

New to the Somerset Series race calendar, a UK Affiliated multi terrain race measuring 10km.  All Race Numbers to be collected on the day.

Course:  – Starts on Gaunts Road, near to the Pawlett Pavilion, with a route that picks up the English National Coast Path, before heading back to the finish at Pawlett Pavilion. A scenic course with undulations that follows the Parrett Estuary.

Facilities: There are parking and toilet facilities at Pawlett Pavilion. The bar will be open for this evening race.

Fees:  10km – £14 (affiliated), £16 (unaffiliated) runners;  5km – £10

Entries:  On-line entries will soon be available at The 10km race will be online entry only. On the day entries will be available for the 5km race (on the day entries for the 5km fun run will close at 6.30pm). 

Online entries for the 10km will close on 13th July 2022 – Entry limit of 150 runners

If you have doubts about joining the club, why not come along to our club evening. Our club run is on Tuesday evening. In line with Covid-19 Government Guidance and UK athletics guidance the club organises a series of socially distant runs in small groups. Each group runs at a different pace, accommodating runners of all abilities. We meet at the Bay Centre from 6pm, with each group setting off at different times. Please keep an eye on our Harriers Facebook page as club runs are published weekly and some groups set off from alternative locations to minimise social gatherings at the Bay Centre. Our Thursday evening Fitness class, normally held at Highbridge Community Hall is postponed until its Covid safe to do so. Upon the resumption of our fitness class, you will be most welcome to join as the sessions are designed for members at all levels of fitness.
