Burnham Half Marathon
Celebrating 40 years of miles and memories, the Burnham-on-Sea Half Marathon returns in 2026 for a very special anniversary edition—bringing together everything runners love about this well-established and much-loved event.
Fast, flat country road, this 13.1-mile road race is ideal for all abilities. The route takes in a picturesque loop through Brent Knoll, Lympsham, and Berrow, offering peaceful countryside and long open stretches perfect for settling into your pace.
With official pacers to help you hit your target time, a supportive atmosphere throughout, and a smooth, well-organised experience from start to finish, it’s no surprise this race sells out year after year.

£26.00 (A £2 discount will be applied at the basket to all entry selections for users with a current England Athletics registration number.
Entries close on the 9th September 6pm
TOILETS
Toilets and changing facilities are available at the sportsground.
PARKING
There is ample parking at BASC Sportsground. Note the entrance has a height barrier restricting vans or high-sided vehicles.

Car park marshals will direct you accordingly. Please car share if possible. .
COURSE
Route Summary
- Start at BASC – short loop of the ground before exiting and turning left onto Stoddens Road.
- At the Tesco roundabout, turn left onto Queens Drive. A left turn is taken at Edithmead roundabout and then another left into Brent Knoll.
- Running with the Knoll on your right-hand side, take a left into West Road entering Lympsham. A further left is taken onto Wick Road and then to Red Road until you reach Berrow.
- A run along the Berrow Road, back into Stoddens Road, entering the BASC Sports ground for the final loop to the finish.
Time limit: There is a time limit of 3-hours for this race, at which point the marshals will withdraw from their posts. Anyone left on the course will become pedestrians and expected to navigate their way back to the finish. A tail vehicle follows runners at the back to ensure their safe completion of the course.
BAG DROP
A bag drop is available at the sportsground. Space is limited and bags are left at your own risk
HEADPHONES
In accordance with England Athletics rules, only bone-conduction headphones are permitted. In-ear and over-ear headphones are not allowed.
REFRESHMENTS
The Sportsground will be open with drinks and snacks available.
WATER STATIONS
There are 3 water stations along the course. Water and refreshments also available at the finish

BASC operates a strict no-dogs-on-site policy
